HAI's Omnistat2 line represents the latest in programmable communicating thermostats. Using advanced digital technology, Omnistat2 thermostats maximize efficiency and enhance comfort by learning the heating and cooling patterns of your home. Graphical displays of HVAC usage and energy consumption by week are viewable on the large, motion-detecting backlit LCD screen, which also features over a hundred customizable backlight colors. Capable of being used standalone or included in an HAI control system, Omnistat2 offers smart functions in an easy to use device. And, all Omnistat thermostats meet the Environmental Protection Agency's ENERGY STAR® Guidelines for energy efficiency.

Communication
The Omnistat2 features an expansion port for wireless communication and can communicate with HAI home control systems as well as automation systems made by other manufacturers. Additionally, the Omnistat2 supports one external indoor or outdoor temperature sensor. If an outdoor sensor is connected, the outdoor temperature is displayed on the Advanced Display.
Energy Savings
Equipped with Energy Efficient Control (EEC), the Omnistat2 features a range of settings that can be programmed to respond to environmental factors, and when turned on, EEC will monitor the performance of the HVAC system continually. To help you save energy and money on your heating and cooling bills, the Omnistat2 can communicate with your electric meter to let you know key information to help you save. By displaying the current cost of energy*, how much energy you're consuming and how much your bill will be, the Omnistat2 gives you all the information you need to save energy and money right away.
Style and Display
The Omnistat2 is available in white, black and silver and features a simple attractive design making it suitable for any décor. Apart from offering over one hundred different backlight colors to choose from by the turn of the knob, Omnistat2 thermostats also feature a proximity/motion detector that turns the backlight on as you approach making nighttime adjustments easier.
