Contact closure and beeper. Trips a device connected to the dry contact; rated at 24V DC. Optionally emits a notification beep. Commonly used for drapery controls, sprinkler systems, garage door openers etc. Can be set for momentary or sustained contact closure. Available only in white. Plug-in Module.
The Universal Module allows you to control low voltage devices such as sprinklers, drapery controls etc. from an X-l 0 controller. It provides isolated relay contacts to control devices rated up to 5A at 24VDC (1OOVA at 3OVAC).

Setting up the Universal Module
Using a small screwdriver adjust the code wheels to the desired House Code and Unit Code.
Adjust the Momentary/Continuous slide switch as follows:
Momentary causes the contacts to close for between 1.5 to 2.5 seconds when an X-10 ON command is received.
Continuous causes the contacts to close when an X-1O ON command is received and remain closed until an X-l 0 OFF command is received.
Adjust the other slide swItch to operate the sounder, relay contacts or both as required.
Connect the terminals on the interface to the device being controlled.
Note: to avoid shock hazard do not connect devices rated over 30 VDC to this device.
Plug the interface into a I20V AC wall outlet.
Testing the Universal Module
Press ON to activate the module according to the selected mode.
Press OFF to switch off The module if set to Continuous operation.
